Vibration Monitoring Sensors

Every factory has powerful electric motors, pumps, compressors, turbines, steam absorbers, and other equipment that has to be maintained in operating conditions. Any unexpected shutdown of this equipment leads to costly effects for the company. To avoid emergency situations, should be observed vibration levels of the equipment and done vibration diagnostics. And the more expensive equipment, the more obvious is the necessity to monitor vibration in real time and implement additional protections.

To address this topic, we developed explosion-proof vibration monitoring sensors, consisting of GP-2, GP-3, GP-4. Overview of the sensors and comparison of their specifications is provided in the vibration monitoring area of the products on our website.

The sensors measure air gap /axial shift (GP-2) or root-mean-square (rms) value of the vibration speed in one (GP-4) or one/three mutually perpendicular directions (GP-3). GP-3 and GP-4 can be used in the systems of vibration diagnostics, thanks to the capability of sending arrays of values, proportional to the instantaneous acceleration. The arrays can then be used to calculate spectral components of vibration with fast conversion by Fourier.
